Great American Insurance Group Leading Rider Qualifying Classes

QUALIFYING HUNTER CLASSES:

An award will be presented to the hunter rider who achieves the most points with his/her top horse each week over the course of the 2021 Desert Circuit. Divisions to count include:

Green Hunters 3’

Green Hunters 3’3”

Green Hunters 3’6”

Green Hunters 3’9”

High Performance Hunters

Green Conformation Hunters

High Performance Conformation Hunters

Performance Working Hunters 3’3”

Performance Working Hunters 3’6”

Points to be awarded as follows:

Points are calculated for each horse/rider combination for each week using the scale above. If the horse shows in more than one division those points are totaled. Each rider’s top horse for the week will have their points added into the rider’s cumulative running total. Bonus points are awarded for champion and reserve as well as for classes with 16 or more. Standings to be updated weekly and posted. It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure their top horse’s points have been correctly recorded each week. 

QUALIFYING JUMPER CLASSES:

An award will be presented to the jumper rider who accumulates the most money with his/her top horse each week over the course of the 2021 Desert Circuit in the divisions listed below:

Jumper 1.30m

Jumper 1.35m

Jumper 1.40m

Grand Prix

FEI Classes (FEI 1.40m, FEI 1.45m FEI 1,50m, FEI 1.55m)

Money is calculated for each horse/rider combination for each week. If the horse shows in more than one class or division, the money will be combined. Each rider’s top horse each week will have their total prize money won in the above classes added to their riders’ running total. Standings to be updated weekly and posted.  It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure their top horse’s money has been correctly recorded each week.
