In this class, Melina focuses on the smaller, often-overlooked muscles that support the larger ones, especially tailored to equestrian athletes! For riders, these muscles are key for balance, stability and fluid movement in the saddle. Strengthening them not only builds physical power but also boosts focus, physical awareness and mental resilience…which are very important things for riders to have while controlling these 1200lbs animals! Get ready to move, groove, and slay the day with Melina in this 45-minute full-body mat Pilates class! Using your own body weight and resistance bands, we’ll work our abs, buns and guns, while having all the funs 😉 This class is perfect for all levels — no prior Pilates experience required!     The USC Equestrian Team is a proud member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association and is celebrating winning our 12th Regional Championship this year. We are preparing for postseason completion with the goal of qualifying for IHSA Nationals. As a club we rely on donations and funraising to support our team, care for our horses and put on shows. We are so grateful to our friends at Desert International Horse Park for the opportunity to host a fundraiser this Saturday and Sunday to help our team! We will be selling merchandise and answering questions about what it is like to ride on a collegiate equestrian team. All proceeds from this weekend go to supporting our team's journey to Nationals. We can't wait to see you there!
