2026 Circuit Awards
LEADING HUNTER RIDER
An award will be presented to the hunter rider who achieves the most points with his/her top horse each week over the course of the 2026 Desert Circuit. Divisions to count include: Green Hunters 3′, Green Hunters 3’3″, Green Hunters 3’6″, Green Hunters 3’9″, High Performance Hunters, Green Conformation Hunters, High Performance Conformation Hunters, Performance Working Hunter 3’3″ and Performance Working Hunters 3’6″.
LEADING JUMPER RIDER
An award will be presented to the jumper rider who accumulates the most money with his/her top horse each week over the course of the 2026 Desert Circuit in the divisions/classes listed below: 1.20m Open Jumpers, 1.30m Open Jumpers, 1.40m Open Jumpers, 1.35m Open Classic, 1.40m Open Classic and 1.45m Open Classic.
LEADING HUNTER HORSE
This special award is presented to the horse accumulating the most prize money in the following classes during Desert Circuit 2026: USHJA International Hunter Derby, USHJA National Hunter Derby, Winners’ Circle Hunter Stake, DIHP Under Saddle Championship, WCHR West Coast Hunter Spectacular and the DIHP Hunter Team Challenge. Prizes awarded to the owner, trainer and groom of the leading hunter horse.
SPEED LEAGUE STANDINGS
The top 25 prize money horses in the $10,000 1.35m Welcome Speed classes held from Sunshine Series 1 (2025) through Desert Circuit 10 (2026) will be eligible to compete in the $20,000 Speed League Final during Desert Circuit 10.
DIHP 3’3” ADULT EQUITATION CHALLENGE LEADING RIDER AWARD
The rider accumulating the most points receives an Hermès prize packages courtesy of DIHP. Open to all riders competing in DIHP Adult Equitation Challenge classes (class 934) during Desert Circuit.
EQUIFIT JUNIOR AGE-GROUP EQUITATION AWARD
The overall highest point-earning rider during the 2026 Desert Circuit will receive an EquiFit CustomLab Prize Package. Eligible divisions include: 2’6” Equitation 11 & Under, 2’9” Equitation 12-13, 3’ Equitation 14-15 and 3’3” Equitation 16-17.
EQUIFIT LEADING JUNIOR JUMPER RIDER AWARD
Each week during Desert Circuit, junior riders in eligible divisions earn points based on their top-performing horse for that week. Riders may compete on multiple horses, but only their best weekly result counts. At the end of the Circuit, weekly top scores are summed, and the rider with the highest total points earns the Leading Junior Jumper Rider title and an EquiFit CUSTOMLAB prize package. Eligible divisions include 1.0m Junior Jumper + 1.05m Junior Jumper Classic, 1.10m Junior Jumper + 1.15m Junior Jumper Classic, 1.20m Junior Jumper + 1.25m Junior Jumper Classic, 1.30m Junior Jumper + 1.35m Junior Jumper Classic and 1.40m Junior Jumper + 1.45m Junior Jumper Classic.
HERMÈS AMATEUR AGE-GROUP EQUITATION AWARD

Riders may compete on multiple horses, but only their best weekly result counts. At the end of the Circuit, weekly top scores are summed, and the rider with the highest total points is awarded the Leading Amateur Hunter Rider title and award. The rider with the most points at the end of Circuit receives an Hermès Prize Package. Eligible divisions include the: 3′ Adult Hunter, 3’ Adult Owner Hunter, 3’3” Amateur Owner Hunter and 3’6” Amateur Owner Hunter.
ANTARÈS SELLIER LEADING JUNIOR HUNTER RIDER AWARD
Each week during Desert Circuit, junior hunter riders in eligible divisions earn points based on their top-performing horse for that week. Riders may compete on multiple horses, but only their best weekly result counts. At the end of the Circuit, weekly top scores are summed, and the rider with the highest total points is awarded the Leading Junior Hunter Rider title and award. The rider with the most points at the end of Circuit receives a saddle courtesy of Antarès Sellier. Eligible divisions include the Children’s Hunters, 3’3″ Junior Hunters and the 3’6″ Junior Hunters.
ANTARÈS SELLIER PONY HUNTER RIDER AWARD
Each week during Desert Circuit, pony hunter riders in eligible divisions earn points based on their top-performing pony for that week. Riders may compete on multiple ponies, but only their best weekly result counts. At the end of the Circuit, weekly top scores are summed, and the rider with the highest total points is awarded the Leading Pony Hunter Rider title and award. The rider with the most points at the end of Circuit receives a pony saddle courtesy of Antarès Sellier. Eligible divisions include the Children’s Pony Hunters, Small Pony Hunters, Medium Pony Hunters and Large Pony Hunters.
ANTARÈS SELLIER LEADING AMATEUR JUMPER RIDER AWARD
Each week during Desert Circuit, amateur riders in eligible divisions earn points based on their top-performing horse for that week. Riders may compete on multiple horses, but only their best weekly result counts. At the end of the Circuit, weekly top scores are summed, and the rider with the highest total points earns the Leading Amateur Jumper Rider title and a saddle courtesy of Antarès Sellier. Eligible Divisions: 1.0m Amateur Jumper + 1.05m Amateur Jumper Classic, 1.10m Amateur Jumper + 1.15m Amateur Jumper Classic, 1.20m Amateur Jumper + 1.25m Amateur Jumper Classic, 1.30m Amateur Jumper + 1.35m Amateur Jumper Classic and 1.40m Amateur Jumper + 1.45m Amateur Jumper Classic.
JUNIOR/AMATEUR SPORTSMANSHIP AWARDS
Awarded to a Junior or Amateur exhibitor demonstrating exemplary sportsmanship during Desert Circuit 2026. There will be two (2) awards presented:
• DC Weeks 1-5: Award presented before the $75,000 National Grand Prix during Desert Circuit 5
• DC Weeks 6-10: Award presented before the $225,000 CSI4* Grand Prix during Desert Circuit 10
Nominations can be submitted using the QR code located on The Kindness Movement whiteboard and at course boards throughout the Horse Park.
To be awarded to a Professional exhibitor showing exemplary sportsmanship throughout Desert Circuit 2026.

DESERT CIRCUIT SERIES 2026 CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS
Desert Circuit Championship awards will be presented to the horses and riders who have accumulated the most points in all hunter, equitation and jumper sections. Mid-circuit awards for Weeks 1-5 will be held at the end of Week 5.
