We can’t wait to welcome you back to the Desert International Horse Park in just a few short days! As you prepare to arrive for National Sunshine Series, coming up on October 29 – November 9, make sure that you have completed the following checklist to ensure a seamless first show of the DIHP season for you and your horses.
✅ Order stalls. – Stall reservations must be made prior to entering. If you have not yet ordered your stalls, reserve them here today: https://deserthorsepark.com/competitor-services/
Once you have reserved your stalls, barn assignments can be viewed here: https://deserthorsepark.com/stall-chart/
✅ Enter on ShowGroundsLive. – Complete your online entries here: https://dihp.showgroundslive.com/
✅ Submit biosecurity information for your horses.
If you are joining us from California this year, you will need:
- an equine health declaration document completed by a trainer, owner or competitor within five days of arrival at DIHP. (USDA-accredited CVIs are no longer required for horses originating/residing in the state of California.)
- an official USEF vaccination declaration document or a signed and stamped letter from your veterinarian with proof of vaccination.
For those coming from out of state, you will need:
- an official state-issued or approved International Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI)
- an equine health declaration document completed by a trainer, owner or competitor within five days of arrival at DIHP
- an official USEF vaccination declaration document or a signed and stamped letter from your veterinarian with proof of vaccination
All owners and trainers (coming from all locations) must sign up for a move-in time and upload their equine documents at least 48 hours prior to arrival. All biosecurity requirements can be completed here: https://deserthorsepark.com/biosecurity/
✅ Register for your DIHP access pass. All individuals entering the horse park are required to register for an access pass here: https://deserthorsepark.com/accesspasses/
Upon completion of the registration, your pass will be automatically available in your phone’s Google or Apple Wallet and able be used throughout the full DIHP season.
